I really like Joel Osteen. He is a funny and positive speaker. My favorite is Joyce Meyers on TV. She is not afraid to tell it like it is and always makes fun of herself. On the radio my all time favorite is Tony Evans. Every single time I listen to him I have a jaw dropping "NOW I GET IT" moment.

I really love Joel Osteen. Sometimes I feel so down and watching him makes me feel so much better. He makes me feel that there is hope.

Hi Erroll... I wonder if you even remember this topic...you posted it so long ago...lol. I'm new to mylots..you can probably tell ...
I am not of Joel Osteen's or John Hagee's faith, not even close..tho I think I should be..long story. Anyway I LOVE THEM BOTH...for different reasons of course. Joel is so inspirational, kind-of loves you into the gospel....now John Hagee...WHEW .. lol... He gets his people all stirred up...it's great. I like Joyce Meyers too. (why I'm not of that faith...??? guess I should figure that out..:)

Hi Carolie, and welcome to mylot and this question.
I do remember this question. I thought it might spark some debate, but it has drawn few responses. I am not of the persuasion of either Osteen on Hagee. I could tell you why, but it would take a long treatise to do so properly. Suffice it to say that I would urge you to spend time in the Scriptures listening to the messages as God breathed them.
God Bless

I absolutly LOVE Joel Olsteen. His book changed my life and the way I look at it. I have just finished writing a very very long response to another discussion (you can check it out) about how he changed my life. I also watch John Hagee. I find him very interesting and knowledgeable. Even though the have totally opposent ways of doing it they both teach the same thing. God Loves us
