When every logical step fails , what do you do ?

Hi folks..Just wanted to know how do you react to a desperate situation ? when all your personal ( & collective )efforts have turned out to be quite ineffective. What do you do under such situations, surrender to the destiny ( accepting personal defeat), or try to find out some other options ?

I'd get help from others.
But then again, it is more challenging to consider there is no one around to provide help. Again if the situation can wait, I'd find help from someone.
When there is really no one to get help from, it pays for one to be used to solving one's problems on one's own.
Given that, there always seems to be a solution... Cheers
