I personally don't celebrate my birthday by cutting cake and all those decorating stuff.I used to like it when i was very small. My thinking might be wrong and it can differ from everyone. What do you think? What's your opinion on this?
If you don't cut a cake then how do celebrate it?What all things do you do on your birthday?
Please describe it and feel free to add up things.

Last year, we went to the bar with my friends and had a good time. But I don't know what it going be like this year. Maybe I just spend it at home and cook spaghetti.

I personal do not celebrate my own birthday, but my close friends usually bought me some cards and took me out for dinner, they remember my exact birthday more accurately than me. I usually have a very good time in my birthday while having feasts with my good friends around, even though they don't have a cake with candle on it for me. lol!!

When I was younger I always had a party on my birthday. My parents usually invited my grandmother, my aunts, my uncles and my cousins for dinner, and after dinner we had coffee and birthday cake. Now I am an adult and I no longer celebrate my birthday that way. I don't have a birthday tradition, and I celebrate my birthday in different ways. Sometimes I invite my parents and my brother for dinner at a restaurant, and sometimes we have dinner at home. When I turned 30 I had a big party, but I don't usually invite a lot of people.

Same with you I don't celebrate my birthday by a party. I celebrate my birthday with family. I cook for them and together we have dinner at the house. Theres nothing wrong if you don't celebrate your birthday. If you don't to spend money for the party, its you choise. Your not different from others your a practical person. But you can celebrate it by going to church and thank God for all the blessings and for giving you another year of good health and life.
