A Four Leaf Clover Brings Good Luck...

Or so it says. My children often look for these things in a grassy field. Recently they found one each, and of course with my luck I found nothing, and they sent it off to their dad to have good luck on deployment.
It has me thinking about the power of these types of good luck charms. Do you believe in good luck charms such as four leaf clovers? Do you have one? Do you believe that they are only lucky because someone thinks they are? Like a lucky pair of socks someone wears to a soccer game?
At the same time do you believe in bad luck? Like breaking mirrors or this sort of thing? Do you believe someone can be in a bad luck streak? Is it supernatural or is it of their own doing?

hi kcoregon, I would say it's a factor affecting someone's self believes and confident... when someone is comfortable with a certain thing, they call it their lucky stuff.. I think it's a good vibes since it help boosting someone's level of fighting spirit. As for the bad lucks stuff, I think I stil ahve the believes of it.. Happy MyLotting

I've searched through the genetic memory and I found something interesting. In 1092 A.D.(the time of the crusades) one of the fleet commander found a four leafed clover and claimed that it helped him lead his men into battle. Something else that originates from that time is the supposed bad luck around 13th Friday.

It's supertition and there are still many supertitions things in this world. In my country, if you want to pee under an old tree, you have to say a permission to 'someone' that they thought guard that tree. Of course it's not true. Tree is still a tree, no matter how old it is. And there is no way, a 'ghost' can live in it. I believe that every lucky thing that happened in our lives is not lucky at all. It's a gift from God. It's something that God wants to give us. If God doesn't want to give it to us, we will never have it. That's my opinion.

I don't believe that four leaf clovers bring good luck. Maybe it's more that you are "lucky" to find one! I do remember setting in patches of clover with my grandmother and both of us chatting about life in general while looking for four leaf clovers!
