i think sun cellular hasn't proven their quality in terms of signal just yet, i know they have better promos when you talk about unlimited calls and texts. but still the signal is questionable and we all know its very poor. And now they are offering data like the internet connection, they can't even fix their cellphone signal. Why not go for the known ones like the Smart Bro Wireless or Globe Tattoo. My friend uses Smart Bro Wireless, its very useful but the speed is not very good.

I am aware Smart Bro Wireless and Globe Tattoo, but they are a bit costly compared to Suncellular wireless broadband, besides I have a postpaid plan with Suncellular, and I am planning to have it bundled with internet connection, but thanks for the reply.

hmmmm.. in my opinion, theres basically just 2 questions to ask yourself..
1. do we have a strong 3G signal?
- this would come in handy since these wireless broadband devices usually look for these signals. if you're not able to make video calls (if you have a 3g phone) even if you're completely setup, your area probably has weak or no signal at all.
2. charges?
- you'll need to compare the prices with other networks that offer the same service. i'd suggest you ask neighbors if anyone has such service and ask them about their usage.
i haven't tried sun but i have tried globe and smart. in the end, i'd still prefer the one from globe.
oh yeah.. one big disadvantage of wireless broadband is rain (thick clouds would do the same) since the service hugely depends on network signals. so if you're thinking of installing one for a desktop computer, i'd suggest getting DSL or cable internet instead.
