free web domain and free hosting

hello friends,
i think all of you are fine. i have joined here very recently. its a great site, specially "discussion" from where we can get different type of topics with problems and solutions theron.
now i would like to know about websites free domain and free hosting.
if i create one site with webs.com (free site)like http://www.myname.webs.com or with some others, then can i get free hosting from any site. i know that this is possible, but i don't have any idea about free domain and free hosting. now can you please tell me in detail about all these. i will be thankful to you, if anybody help me to create a site with free domain and free hosting.

Hi friend,
Yah there are a lot of hosting servers who provide such service. One of them I most like is freewebhostia. It again provides a free hosting solutions and free domain with http://www.myname.freewebhostia.com . Only problem in the freehostia is that some of the PHP features are restricted. Other free domain service is provided by .co.cc domains. You can have search for such hosting servers. .co.cc doma9ns are absolutely fee till now.

If you have a site with webs then you already have hosting. If you find another host then you could try to export your blog to your new hosting.
I know of a site called hyperwebenable who offers free hosting and free domain name. Perhaps it would be an idea to contact them and ask how it works.

freehostia is good but what I was looking is s free host that
supports php mail so far I found nothing on free host I know

it really depends what you want to do with the website ? it you plan to write a blog or online journal, then i will suggest you signup for blogger.com or wordpress.com they are totally free and user friendly.

You are absolutely right dear. If you want a free domain then 99% of times you will get a sub domain as you specified. But you have to choose the one which provides you features more like a paid domain. To get the best free domain please give a look at my profile. You will find the best free domain providers and free webhosting witha lot of space php, mysql databases and all that for free.

angelfire.com is one. geocities.com , fortunecity.com , better that you pay for a domain before someone gets it. if you are serious about building a site, then stick with paid. godaddy.com is popular,for hosting. leave me a messege.
