In my country, it is hot day throughout the whole year. So I must take bath everyday. And most of the time, I take bath twice a day. But the moment I gave birth to my baby, I have to stop shower for 1 month, which is called confinement month. It is not adviseable to take any shower when a woman is in her confinement month. I can only rub my body with some Chinese herbs water to clean my body. I could not leave the house for that particular month too.

I will admit, i have been known to go a day or two with out showering, though if i have to work or am going out of the house for anything, i do shower on a regular basis.
I think the longest i have ever gone with out shower was three days. I was extremely ill at the time and didn't have enough energy to be on my feet or in an upright position for more than a minute or two. I would get very nauseous and light headed, and would hav been afraid of falling and hurting myself. I didn't have a tub at the time, even though as my entire body was aching, it would have been wonderful to be able to soak in a hot bath. I did have someone bring me a bucket of warm water and a washcloth and towel, and did an improvised sponge bath one during this period, it made me feel a little better, but it was exhausting to even do that.

I shower and bathe every day. As I am living in India, which is a tropical country, you will find it very difficult and sweaty, if you do not shower or bath everyday. During the hot summers, I even try to have two to three showers. So you feel nice and clean.

I suppose no one can say that they have never gone a day without showering. If I am camping in the woods or flying from destination to destination it is impossible to shower for a day or even days. However, if I am at home having a routine life and schedule, of course I shower in the morning before I hit the road for work and I shower before I go to bed. I shower alot more in the Summer than I do in the Winter. Showering and brushing my teeth twice a day is mandatory for me to feel fresh and clean. Our bodies are constantly shedding skin cells that need to brushed or washed away. Unfortunately, some people don't see the value in taking showers, but they do make you feel, smell, look better, and is good for your overall health.
