I do not have any scheduled interviews yet, but I am applying for jobs. I always get nervous when going to interviews. What are some good tips for having a successful interview?

hi there, tinah06..
1. come to the interview before your schedule, 30 minutes at the very least. this will give you time to relax and be 'familiar' with the surroundings.
2. know about the company you're applying for and have at least 2 questions in mind that you're really interested to know about the company.
3. do not volunteer negative information about yourself.
4. keep your answers direct to the point. don't beat around the bush.
5. if you don't know the answer, just be honest. you may say "I don't know but I sure would like to find out." that would mean you have a teachable attitude.
6. emphasize on your strengths and what you can contribute to the company. this denotes good work ethic.
7. JUST BE YOUR BEST SELF. Not someone else's self (you know what I mean), but YOUR BEST self.
8. Last but not the least, pray for God's guidance. Give it your best shot and know that if ever you don't land the job, God has something better.
happy myLotting! :)
