Old Bay is one of my favorite seasoning, I just love the taste. I use it on seafood, and chicken. I bake chicken wings today, and I use a couple teaspoon. It was great. Anyone like the taste of Old Bay Seasoning?

I love Old Bay! I use it on Blue Crabs, shrimp and fish. I put a dash in my tuna fish and chicken salad as well as sprinkling on homemade french fries. When I moved to Mexico I couldn't buy it and I was just lost, nothing is the same without it. Now I have friends bring it down to me whenever they come.

You and the gentlemen's post above you both use on it blue crabs. What are blue crabs?? LOL Are they actually blue? So I am guessing Old Bat seasoning helps counteract a fishy taste in foods??

Wow, you guys amaze me with some of the suggestions. I have never had it on tuna fish, or chicken salad. I have to try it on other stuff.

Blue crabs are native to the east coast. Their claws are blue until you cook them then they turn bright red. They are really delicious, the Old Bay doesn't hide a fishy taste, it adds a great spicy taste. We also use it in making crab cakes and crab soups.

I have a can of Old Bay spice in my cabinet, but i am not really sure why, as I don't really know what to use it on. LOL Sometimes, when I get creative in the kitchen I just start throwing whatever I can find that may be intersting in the pot or casserole, and I do throw it in every once in a while. What do you use it on?

Try a little on some popcorn, it will give you an idea of the flavor! Keep it away from your eyes! Tdemex

You can put it on just about any dish. I never thought about using it on popcorn like suggested below that's interesting.

I use it when steaming Blue claw crabs! It's the only way to fly!!! We went to Vancouver Island and I was Salmon fishing, we threw out some crab traps on the way out! When we came back in at the end of the day we had about 32 of the giant crabs in that area! I knew we were going there and took about 3 big cans of Old Bay! Our host had never heard of it, he wanted to steam them in the traditional way they did it there, so I made a deal with him and did half of them in Old Bay! Wow they went nuts over them! I left him the other two cans when we left! About a month latter he asked me to ship him a case of it! tdemex

Old Bay is definitely one of my favorite seasonings. I know that my family likes to put it on shrimp and crab a lot. I like to make my own Old Bay potato chips, they are really tasty. I found a tin of Old Bay Lemon and Herb seasoning the other day at the store and I bought it, I am excited to see how it tastes when I come up with an idea to use it with. I can get carried away with the Old Bay seasoning sometimes though haha, I have to hold myself back from putting it on all of my food lol.

Ohhhh lemon and herb, that sounds really good. I've never seen that, but that's probably because the don't sell it here in Mexico.
