Getting out of an apartment lease!

Hello! I have made the decision to move into a new place with my boyfriend. Horray, but I've already signed a lease at my current apartment until next summer. I really want to leave because it's on a major road and keeps me up at night. I signed the lease before realizing how loud the location was. My mistake, but I'm wondering if any other MyLot memebers have experience getting out of a lease early? There isn't anything wrong with the apartment, it's just really loud and I'd like to save money by living with him. I'd be really grateful for any advice!!! Thanks guys.

So, if you get out the lease prematurely, they might fine you for penalty. My advise on this situation, read your agreement carefully, if there is any exit way out of this lease early. If not, you might need to pay some penalty in order to get out of that contract early. Sorry to say that, but what is rule is the rule. We have to obey it.

can you sublet your apartment? or perhaps you can talk your way out of the lease? that happened to me a couple of years ago and i was fortunate that someone was in desperate need of an apartment, so i got out of my lease 6 months early.
