I love to draw....but i suck where can i go to learn?

So the title is long so that people really understand what I want. I love to draw i have the special pencils, erasers, paper, etc. But one issue i suck i need some sort of free or cheaper system that i can use to learn because i did research and most people who draw didn't start off amazing you have to learn but how! I tried the for dummies book but its not my speed. anyone got any ideas for me, thanks!!!
