What's your favorite laptop brand ?

Acer is not bad, but it's not as durable.. There are often alot of problems with acer, for i have sold it before.. lol =D I will prefer HP or compaq.. hehe ^_^ THough they are more expensive, but their components in there are good.. IT's worth the price as it saves me the trouble of having to send for repairs.. haha =D

I also have ACER but when i buy a computer it isn't the brand whats relevant to me. because its really not that big difference what "brand" puts it together, because different brands use often same components. Its more important to me how good are the things its made of, (size and type of hard drive, amount of ram, type of processor,etc) so i must say i don't have favorite laptop brand but i do have some favorite brands of components like AMD and Nvidia.

I have never owned a laptop but I would like to have one someday. I have never tried the Acer products either but I have heard that they are very good ones. I would try one of those too.

I've used acer all my life. my dad and sister's laptop was acer. but my own laptop is toshiba and i love it to bitsssss... haha. when i was saving up for my own laptop, toshiba wasn't even in the list of potentials, it was expensive and... well expensive. so when i got extra cash, i decided to get the toshiba. its working beautifully. and i like it more than my sister's acer. though that could be because i paid for this one myself, and its alllll mineeeeee. haha.

My brother's laptop is ACER. Unfortunately mine is not. But I still love my laptop. I don't care too much about the band. I care more about its quality. I use laptop to work and study almost everyday so if its quality is not good then why should I buy it. Soon I will buy another one. I prefer Apple. I never use Apple before and my friends tell be I should give it a try. I hope Apple won't let me down.

I use compaq for my laptop brand. My friend recommended me to use campaq. He said compaq is very good branded for laptop.

I use Dell laptop and I am satisfied with it. The price is reasonable and its quality is very good. Besides, its service after sale is very nice. If I have any technical problems, and I can call and consult the staff and they are very patient to answer my questions and help me to solve my problems. Due to these reasons, I like Dell and I will buy a Dell laptop in the future. I love China

The only reason I use a Macbook is because my school required it and I have gotten used to Mac OSX Leopard. That being said, I prefer Apple MacBook's and MacBook Pro's because they can run more than one OS. It comes with the latest version of Mac OSX and you can install Windows on it. The Macbook has decent battery life, long enough for a single day of use at school. So to answer your question, Apple is my favorite laptop brand because it fits most of my needs in a relatively sleek and elegant package.

My favourite laptop should be Sony Vaio, but alas it is to expensive for me and the value for money is not equal...so I get my self an ACER laptop and I used for more 2 years now. BR.b

Apple Macbook.. well because the software it's easy to use... and the MAcintosh OS is very stabile ... ^^ plus no virus can broke an Apple computer... Xp That's why I love apple product.. ^^

Hi Srikandi, I have two of laptops which it is IBM Thinkpad and BYON local Brand. I like both laptops because it is very good of performing. Especially on IBM Thinkpad R51 already more than 6 years in operation. Recently, It has problem on battery. Because very limited budget, I have tried on local brand - BYON. I was surprised that It is very good laptop too. I have used within three years now. Both laptops are running with Windows Xp Professional.

i do have a acer laptop, but i do not think my next laptop going to be acer again. My friend recommend me to buy Toshiba or Sony, i believe they are better, of course more expensive.

Since I am a HUGE gamer, I really like the Alienware. It may seem pricey, but it has absolute great performance, speed, and high graphics quality which is what gamers like me look for. The appearance is so captivating as well! Okay, it looks a bit bulky, but the alien on the shell and the light up colors cannot be mistaken :) Lenovo is also a great brand for people on a budget. They offer exceptional performance at a great price. You definitely get your money's worth when purchasing a lenovo. As for the MacBooks, well they ARE nice looking but performance wise, you might as well get a Mac Pro desktop.

There are ofcourse many excellent brands for laptop computor. Acer is an excellent one too. My favorite brand is Toshiba. I have been using Toshiba laptop for many years now, have been very satisfied with its performance. I carry it along on all my business trips too.

mmh may be i don't have just one brand i consider when i must buy a new laptop but i think almost three cna be considered brands that normally i like their laptops and so i will check before buy a new one!!such as hp,dell and ibm!!So in many case configuration,size and price can b the difference between laptops but i think these three brands are really good!!On the contrary i don't like acer laptops!!i experienced some of them and i noticed that hardware is not as quality as i can think about this brand!!So the price and design of acer laptop normally is ok..but hardware and in some cases configurations never convicted me to buy one before!!

I have a Dell and have used Dell for my Desktop as well because I was lazy for a few years and didn't want to build a Desktop. Then I decided I would buy a laptop from them and was surprised at how awesome they are. I have switched away from Windows because well Windows is a resource hog. I use Ubuntu on my Dell Studio XPS 1340 which is last years model and it is completely supported by Ubuntu due to Dell making Ubuntu laptops which are the same as mine. I enjoy this laptop it doesn't have any problems and well it runs all of the apps that I use. The battery last a good long time. It has a light up keyboard which makes it easy to use with out the lights on in the room. I enjoy every part of it. I would recommend a Dell Laptop to all of my friends because they are really built well. I haven't been the nicest to it and it doesn't show a scratch. I also find that the battery is located in a good place. The screen is attached in a very stable way so that I don't have to worry about it breaking off. The only down side is that it is Black which means you can see the finger prints on it.

I don't know what brands are good but my spouse likes to use Acer.He will change computers when it broke but he will only buy brand Acer everytime.I think it is good.
