Do you cry when you watch tragic or sentimental movies?

I have seen many people weep and wipe their tears while watching a movie for tragic and sentimental scenes. I do have also a light heart and it is not that I am hard hearted but,I do not weep I just control my tears even if I feel like. The actors are being paid to make us cry or it is that they have acted so well that we have got totally involved in that character.
Do you cry while watching a movie? Do your family members make fun of you when you cry while watching a movie?

Ya I also felt like crying while watching a bollywood movie. But tears didn't fell from my eyes. Infact I never burst into tears even if I am sufring the worst. But I feel really sad for sure. I can't stop my laughter when I watch someone crying after a movie or TV show. lol
I always cry when i looked the movies or news which tragic.My tears can easy out alot.Sometime i think they flow out automatic.@yogambal_64 (1014)

I do cry or rather emote to all the emotions portrayed in the movie. When i can laugh for a joke shouldn't i cry for a sentimental scene. I simply corelate the reel-time scene to any of my real-time incident and weep.
However, none of my close relatives know aout it as i try to hide my tears - probably look away when they are talking to me when i'm weeping. So, don't be hard on yourself tryign to control your tears - so be happy to cry the bext time you watch a sentimental movie

yess i cry in almost every movie..whether its a tragic scene or a happy one..i cry more at happy scenes..u know tears of joy..i am a very emotional and sensitive person ..i am easily moved by these movies..i get totally involved with the character and i cant stop my tears..

NO.i not cry,while watching sentimental movies,because i see movies only for entertaining purpose not to upset my mood,perhapes this is the reason i am not watching sentimental movies.

I feel very sad and emotional while watching sad or sentimental movies and do cry sometimes without my knowledge. Of course i wipe of the tears before anyone can make a note of it. I get so attached to the character that i start putting myself in that place which makes me weep.
Yes my family members have made fun of me when i get emotional but i do not bother.

Yes, most of the time, I do cry with those sentimental movies. It may sound weird, but I like a movie that makes me cry because it just means that I was moved by the scene or I can relate well with the story, or I can simply see myself in the situation. The artists may be good in acting out their characters to make viewers feel this way.
Sometimes, my family kids me that I should not watch those movies because they just make me cry. But just like you, I'm sensitive and soft-hearted so I really can't control my tears from falling.
