i think too windows xp is better then Windows Vista and Windows 7 because it's faster and there are programs you still cannot use on Windows Vista or Windows 7 what's really not usefull

Helo there aliwaqas and Wouter92!
Maybe windows XP had made its position at the time they released the SP3. And I agree that at this time it is a stable OS than Vista. But I believe that Microsofts' support for Windows XP will end after the full blast of Windows 7 as they did with their previous OSes. The Vista made its way through multimedia and security but gave less priority in power and performance. Because of this and Vistas low demand in the market they make way with Windows 7. This new promising OS was built what Vista had neglected. Win7 as report says will boots faster and has a smaller memory footprint than Windows Vista. Application and hardware compatibility will be more manageable. Faster and efficient troubleshooting, not to mention added tools like BitLocker To Go, DirectAccess, BranchCache, and AppLocker.
But then again there’s more to hear and Microsoft is relying from feedbacks of current users. My opinion is, lets grab a Windows 7 beta copy and test it. Can’t wait till the download is complete...lol.
Happy mylotting!

Hi,
I agree that Windows XP is best. But it should give way to the new versions. Also after the SP3, I heard a lot of complaints from my friends and co-employees regarding some problems after installation. But currently I am using Windows 7 which I feel one of the best releases of Microsoft with features and improved performance. wait for the full release to find more features and added improvement in the OS.

It's cheaper than Vista. Much cheaper. But i don't think i want to use it until i find that there's no many complaint about Windows 7. As we know and based on my own experience, Microsoft's product have never be good on their first release. Usually they will patch and patch as time goes by. But since it has cheaper price, i think there's many people will try it. I think this is Microsoft's marketing strategy for increasing their new OS popularity since they failed in Vista. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Hi dianmelydia,
You got a point there. Marketing strategy on their side really is to attract more customer as they can by lowering the price. Indeed by taking advantage of this many will go for the upgrade. But since its a new OS expect a lot of feedback and lots of updates and patches to be released. So waiting for the more secured version will lessen our vulnerabilities.
Happy mylotting too.
