Why you sound like a American That's what are norm is after 5 to ten yrs. at a company.Thank goodness my husband has a job now that is a bit different, working in pharmaceutical company, very stressful but a good job .We also have the weekends together but not this one he has to work .But that's more money for vacation.
He has 32 days vacation not including, holidays such as Christmas, and all the others.
I on the other hand have a vacation whenever,I decide ,I just don't clean or cook and spend the day with friends. I have had more schooling as a adult than when,I really was suppose to be there growing up. I guess when you want it,it is much easier to go and learn . TGIF its that time of the week for you have a great one!

We will keep you in mind as a interpreter, when we go to Germany .I am very ashamed to say ,I have family there, but my mom has always been there to help me speak . Now I wonder how hubby would be ,not understanding anything. .I can understand German being raised around it with family visiting and our visits there. But not good enough for two of us to have a pleasant stay.
Its great how many languages you speak.

I am a student and also a part time tutor as well. I find it quite tiring but I have to be working to support my studies and else I will not be able to if I don't work. I work 5 days a week at night and I have classes from Monday to Friday morning until the afternoon as well. The only time I have for my family and myself and to do my revisions will be the weekend and hence it will be tough for me to take the weekends off for holidays and vacations and as well trips.

Thank you share good experience. i appreciate you study and do part-time hard, your schedule is intense, it can help you get the full experience and good reference to new work which you will attend.
Take care of yourself, don't be too tough, your body is more money than wages you earn, after the intense work, you will be slacking off in weekend, good luck!^^

When I used to work in a corporate world, I have 2 weekends off, and also 21 days of leave.. and not to mentioned another 14 days of sick leaves.. if I have all these taken into consideration, I am actually working on leisure.. Although I can't be spending all my leaves at one time, if I got a chance, I take approx 5 days in a row for holidays, and the rest are more for family gathering and helping out my mum..
