It was too weird to be ture, but it was ture, literally! Well, nowadays, as a student, it was not that difficult for a Chinese to go to the United states! All they have to do is just to take the IBT and GRE test. If your score is decent enough as well as you have a high GPA, you can apply for a decent enough USA school, that’s for sure! However, when I was in high school, only the kids of the zillionaire or something could fantasize about that going abroad thing. For that matter, the guys who successfully got the offer would become the dramatis personae in a fairy tale! Let me talk to business. A fairy tale guy, my former high shool classmate, went back from NewYork last week.! It was said that he tried to make invitation cards for the whole class so as to throw a party! As he could imagine, most of us had already lost contact with each other! So, only a few guys who still lived in the town were invited as was planed! For that matter, I didn’t go, but I got some explosive news… It didn’t take the “media” long to get wind of it! The guys who were available all went to the party including a nice couple who had been close partners and had been envied by lots of other people since the fresh year in high school. No one had ever doubted their relationship! During the dinner, the friry tale guy asked the girl out for a break! The good news was, her boyfriend didn’t care since he thought nothing would happen, so did the girl. Five minutes later, they came back! “I now declare something!” The drama guy said, “we were engaged! Next month, you know, my finacee and I will go back to NewYork. We decided to settle there.” “What……..what………what…….?”…………………. You thought it was a short novel? I’m sorry for what it happened is absolutely ture! Everyone reckoned the girl’s exboyfriend might take a bad knock! Actually, he survived it already! Apparently,as you could imagine, money is a kind of allurement for all any of us! That bout of money poisoning has turned the girl to another boy’s parnter!Few people especially the young ones are really immune to it! Here is a question!
