I am Polish and I love my country!
I would like to write book about history of Poland. I mean - some kind of criminal book:)
So I need your help!
What do you know about Polish history? And about what you would like to read book?
Thank you very much for every post!

Hi Krupik, my main area of knowledge of Polish history is during the second world war as I have read much about the concentration camps established there, the ghettos set up, the anti-semitism of many of the Polish people towards the Jews even though they were themselves seen as second class citizens by the Nazis.
I had a wonderful book about Poland showing the life there before the war, the traditions and country life, and then the changes which came about through the war.
Poland is the country I would most like to visit, and to see the remains of Austwich.

Hi krupik, that's great to hear about the difference in attitudes now. I used to have two good Polish friends who lived here but they returned to Poland where they found the work situation had much improved in their absence and have now stayed in Poland. I'll look at your F/R later, I'm realy backlogged on there.
