Does Bopara make a good number 3 batsman?

Ravi Bopara does not seem to have what it takes to bat at number three. Today he just hung his bat in the air and got out caught. He has not scored runs this Ashes and has never looked comfortable. To make things worse for him, The Aussie bowlers have not even been anywhere next to their best. So what do you guys think about him? I think he is a good player, but not at number 3, number 5-6 would be more suited to him.

I don't know exactly why, but Ravi Bopara is a big bet for England at No. 3. He has what it takes to be a number three batsman. You know there are a lot of responsibilities on a number 3 batsman. It may be a quick wicket of either of the openers and the number three has to take that into account too. Or it might be sticking to the wickets. Or something even different that this too. Whatever might be the case, I suppose Bopara has it what it takes to be at the number three spot. As far as you are saying that he sould play down the order, well, he is good even there too.
