In this fast pace of life we always tend to forget our life creator.
We all worship god when we have some problems and during tough times.
When everything is going fine with dont visit temples or churches.
I want to know that how many of us regularly visit and worship god.
Please feel free to answer this discussion.
I think many will inspire here.

I do visit temple every weak. on auspicious days like festivals I definitely go to temple. Yes as u said when I am in trouble I often go to temple. Because I feel very relax and calm. We can leave all our problems and we can do meditation. we can keep our concentration on god.

church----People go to church to be the part of local church, a body of Christ. Christianity is not an island to yourself, it is about relationship and you cannot have relationship with God when you don't have loving relationship with your church.
And concerning fasting... you have no idea why people fast or go on mission and die for the gospel, do you?
You are a poster child of what's wrong with the Christianity today.

Amit, I am from south India and the conservative vegetarian type! Get my drift? Yes! I am a brahmin. We have a shrine at home, so it is every day.
However my wife is an avid temple goer and insists on dragging me to a temple on festivals. I hate it. It is so crowded. My idea of prayer is doing it in peace and quiet! Not with people trampling on my toes.

I make it a point to visit a temple nearby almost all the days, Fridays I surely go whatever happens. There are times I am unable to go mostly only once or twice in a week, but I do finish my prayers at home in the morning and visit the temple also regularly.
