Which one do you prefer-listening to music or watching music videos?

Same with me too..I love to see the music videos while i am sitting in my room..but i hang out with my friend i prefer to hear songs over my headphone..... happy lotting..

I would much rahter listen to music that to sit and watch videos. Sometimes when I am really bored, I search through the music video lists on demand on the televsion, but I rarely find anything there that I would like to watch. I prefer to be on the computer, and I load up my media player and listen to music while on the computer, or while I am doing other things around the house.

I prefer listening to music, then I am free to do other things but sometimes it's interesting to see a visual interpretation of a song. It adds a little more meaning to it. Like Avril Lavigne's song When You're Gone could just be another "missing you" love song until you see the video of soldiers saying good bye to their families before they board their transport planes. It makes the story in the song that much more painful.

Hi jimmy87, I like hearing music. I don't like watching music videos 'cause it has no impact on our hearts which I personally feel. Hearing music directly touches the heart and creats a soundy feeling and lets our own imagination to prosper. I too play some musical instruments so I greatly prefer music through ear which helps me in grabing the essence of the music. Nice discussion... Have a nice day. Cheeers
