Paypal Deducts a certain fees when someone transfers funds in our account. For example I reside in India. So when someone will transfer funds in my account suppose 10$ then some amount will be deducted. after that when I will cash out the remaining another deduction will be imposed as I reside outside US. So what will I get. What are the total deductions that paypal imposes. I request Indian users to please tell me if they have a cash out from paypal and what deductions were imposed on them.

I am from India but still confused with their transaction fee. Once my friend sent me 10 cent to my account. But I got nothing increased in my account balance and the whole 10 cents had been deducted as fee. It seem if we transfer such small amount with the personal payment option tab, these deductions are not imposed. But I am not sure about the fee that we need to pay while withdrawing from the PayPal account to our bank account.

knrsekar, paypal has a straight forward deduction of 2.9 % + $0.30 on your transaction. If your friend has sent you the money via paypal, that is if the transfer was paypal to paypal, then you must have received it. Otherwise not. Well I was looking for something else. Any ways Happy Mylotting !

Hi, I have heard that they do not deduct any money if it is an online transfer from paypal to your bank. I have not transferred any money till now so I do not have any first hand experience. You may try out this method. Hope this works out.

I read their TOS. It was mentioned there that only paypal to paypal transactions are free of cost. All other transactions such someone paying you through Credit card or If you are receiving funds from different countries then money will be deducted. The which was not cleared to me was that if both deductions will be imposed on me or I will get some relief on any one.

Transferring funds from paypal to another paypal individual account can be done as gift so no charges are incurred and anything above Rs.7000/- there are no charges, however you can also read their terms and conditions to get a clear picture.

What do you mean by anything above 7000. Have you ever cash out money from paypal. If yes how much was deducted?

Really. That's one thing no one ever takes into account. We all are after money and trying to increase our balance. Which I think is not wrong. But we need to take some other technical things into account so that our accounts can be full.
