have direct referrals in NeoBux! Though, I'm still wondering why you have to wait 30 days to do this. Any reason why? Trying to prevent cancerous-like exponential growth? Does anyone know why NeoBux caps the first month?

Hi SomethingSea,
I recently joined Neobux and didn't know about the direct-referral rule til a few days back. Neobux doesn't go out of its way to point this out before you join (or when you join as I didn't notice the rule when I first joined), so it must be a calculated decision on their part. A big part of that decision is most likely financial. Nothing wrong with the financial motive behind the direct-referral rule, but I wish they were more upfront about that rule before people join.

I'm trying out Neobux for 30 days. Even though I invested $5 before I knew about the direct-ref rule, I was hoping that in the first month, I'd be able to earn thru a combination of direct & rented referrals.
In any case, you've now gotten over the 30-day hump, so well done. I wish you all the best in gaining direct referrals (that's if you plan on continuing with Neobux).
Oh, and thanks for the best-reponse thumbs-up!
Have a good month...

lol Yes, I do indeed plan on staying with NeoBux. I've re-invested the Neo balance back in and have 6 rented refs, which I am caring for as if they are my children. I found another site recently from a fellow myLotter called work-online, and it pays $0.50 per story you write. I think I'm going to use the money I make from it to get Golden in Neo.

Yes, I agree about that. I made the mistake of telling my parents, and they signed up... not under me. And then I discover that there is a waiting period. It was disappointing, and part of the reason that I went with doing a month-long investigation for YouTube, rather than a daily one (i.e. instead of posting daily, post one report).

Very simple.. They want you to invest your earned money back into their site. I really don't understand why they have such rules. 30 days before you refer anyone and ceiling on direct referrals limit. Definitely not in sustaining way.

If that is the case, then it makes sense, given what I've read on the forums. The goal of that, I would guess, would be to encourage the renting of referrals, since this is the main strategy of NeoBux. The reason that there is a limit on direct referrals, apparently, was that people were making sock accounts and referring themselves, and thereby abusing the system.

very interesting. I did not know this. I just joined them 2 weeks ago and am still learning the ropes. Thanks for the info.
