How often do you borrow money and other things from friends?

I hate to borrow money. Whenever I borrow, I leave a reminder and give the money back on time. I know many people including some of my friends who never give borrowed things or money back. I borrow very rarely. My friend Selva never borrows money. I was suprised to hear that he skips one meal a day during month end due to lack of money, but never borrows. How often do you borrow? Do you give back the borrowed things or money on time? Do you hate to borrow? Do you have friends who never give borrowed things back

Thanks for the response. Yes, I will miss you here onwards. It is nice to hear that you don't like to borrow things or moeny. I also hate borrowing from friends because it will sometimes affect the friendship. I have a friend who never bother to pay the borrowed money back.

Yes. Really. She borrowed money from me many times and never gave it back. Now a days I am avoiding her and I barely talk to her. Whenever I ask for the money she says she doesn't take money on that day. If she wants to pay be she can go the nearby ATM and get me the money. It says she doesn't want to pay my money back. Most of the time she borrowed moeny from me to buy lunch for her. Many times I got lunch for her for free because of our frienship. But, sometiems she borrowed money from me and went for expensive lunch. I don't understand why she can't go for a cheap lunch if she doesn't have money. I hate these kind of people.

I don't like borrowing anything from anyone . I feel i'm then obligated to the other person and will have to acept whatever they ask me to do orst of all, i hate to orrow money - i would rather stay starving than borrow money. I can't even think of a situation like that where i stumble for words while i ask for money. I think all of us should save a little from our earnings and use it for a rainy day

Yes, all of us should save some money for the rainy days. I am fine with borrowing money if you are really in a need, but I don't understand how a person can completely forget about that after borrowing money. A person borrowed money from me many times and never gave it back, once I asked her, then she said that she didn't have money at that time. I don't understand how a person can behave like this. She could have answered me in a nice way even if she has made her mind not to give my money back.

I borrow money when I need it. If I go out and don't have enough money, I'll borrow from friends. I do it pretty often because I don't bring enough of cash. Whenever I borrow money, I will worry about when I can see that friend again and pay him or her back. i don't like borrowing but sometimes it is necessary.

I am also like you. I don't keep much money with me alwayas. If I keep a lot of money in cash; I will end up spending it for unnecessary reasons. So, I need to borrow money sometimes, but I make it a point to give it back on time. If you don't give the borrowed money on time; it might split up your friendship with the person. Thanks for the response.

Hope you will be able to pay the money of your best friend. It seems she is a very good person and a considerable friend. I will get really upset if somebody borrows money from me and won't give it back on time. I will feel it irritated regarless if it is a small amoutn or big amount. Thanks for the response.

We should not borrow money from our friends if we want to have the relationship the same value.Once you start borrowing money from friends, then the relationship will be different and even you might lose your friendship. There are many other sources to raise money and we should not put friendship into it.I hate borrowing or lending money, with friends.Cheers!

You are right. It spoils friendship. That happened to me. Now a days, I am avoiding one of my colleages because she keeps borrowing from me, but never give back. I hate those people. There is no problem if you give it back on time, but it is better not to take the risk. Thanks for the response.

By the grace of Almighty i have never borrowed any money either from my relatives or friends.I know paying a debt is always a heavy burden but if a person is left with no options then he has to borrow money to fulfill his needs.

That is great. Thank god! I also share your happiness about that. I have never borrowed a give amount yet. God has never give me a chance for that. I thank god for it because I hate borrowing. I would prefer to borrow from friends compared to relatives. Thanks for the response.

Your response doesn't say whether you give back the money on time. We always like to borrow money from friends who are close to us. Yes, borrowing money says you are close to that friend, but at the same time there is a lot of chance that the borrowing will spoil the relationship. It happened in my case also. One of my colleagues keep borrowing money from me, but never gave back. Once I asked her, but she didn't care. She told that she doesn't have money at that time. She never gave it back. Now a days I started avoiding her even though she was my good friend.

I always bring my atm card with me and make sure i have enough in the account for emergencies so i don't have to borrow money from friends. The last time i did borrow was when i tried to withdraw and no cash came out from the machine, no receipt either but when i inquired again i saw that the amount i meant to withdraw was already debited but the money was not dispensed. I knew the problem would be cleared out after some time but that would take at least seven to ten days from the time i reported it and investigated until my money gets back to my account and i didn't want to make another withdrawal anymore just in case the problem would happen again. I didn't have enough time to go home to get the money that i forgot to take out from my other bag and i already needed the cash so i called up a friend. I immediately paid it back the very next day and did not cause much trouble for my friend. I do have some friends who never give borrowed money and other things back and i just let it go and they know it. But that would surely remind them that they can not easily borrow from me again!

I simply do not like the idea of borrowing. But yes, I have borrowed a couple of times because I did not have a choice. But I made it a point to repay him asap. I always try to save up money for my leisure. And my friends, yeah! they do borrow money but very rarely. They also make it a point to repay the money. Only a few friends of mine hesitate to repay coming up with dumb reasons. They are untolerable.!! Happy MyLotting!
