Now I know there is no place like home, but which country or place really fascinated you a lot, so much so that you wished you had a second home there!

I am from the United States. The only other country I've ever traveled to is Canada. So I don't really feel like I can choose another country that I'd ever want to call my "second home." I would pick a state (and specific town in that state) right here in the U.S.!! MYRTLE BEACH!!!!!! I would move there if I could. It's a beautiful, friendly beach. I'd love to work down there with all of the tourists. It's really a great place and one of my favorites to visit each summer.

Samoa: I went there on my way back from visiting New Zealand. I fell in love with the beauty and the charm of the island. The capital Apia was rather like a village. It has a marine reserve and on the outskirts is Robert Louis Stevenson's house. It is now a museum and I found it fascinating to visit it. I loved bathing in the cool waterfalls. In the rain forest I saw an old Polynesian pyramid. I found the local people were incredibly friendly. I don't think it would be possible to buy a second home there. It is an unspoilt paradise in the South Pacific Ocean.

I haven't traveled a lot outside of the U.S., only to Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas. We live on the west coast and last summer, we flew to Rhode Island and drove the New England coast. It's hard to explain why, but I would love to have a second home at Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island. I'm still trying to figure out why myself. It's a small beach town with just a few restaurants but for some reason, it captivated me. If I were to choose a place for a second home out of the county, it would be in Vancouver, BC. It's such a wonderful cosmopolitan city. I fell in love with it.
