When someone borrows money from you, do you always know or have the confidence to demand payment? or do you just wait for them to somehow 'remember' to pay you?

Hello, first off I don't loan money. Especially to family because after years of waiting I finally deided to NEVER loan any to family.Only close to family I will loan to is my b/f because I have control on how much is put away and how much to spend. As for making payments for my own, I pay off the bill in full when I charge so I won't have to get a finance charge.

Hi, laydee!
I would be rich if I could demand payment from many people to whom I gave (can't call it a loan when it isn't repaid) money. Lately, I have none to spare, and I think it's better that way.

well I received a settlement for a good amount. And my sister ask to borrow $100.00.So I did give it to her. She said she would pay me back the next month on a certain date. But she never did. She has a job but claims after she gets paid she has no money for her self.So she said she would now pay $25.00 A month. So I agreed. I still have not received a payment .And when I ask she says she does not have it. And my money is gone. Even though shes my sister I still want a little something every month.
