What Video Game System Do You Own?

With how much competition there is out there for game systems, which one did you end up getting for yourself or your family? Do you own more than one? Would you consider buying another one in the future? What games do you own? We had a PlayStation for a couple years that I was given a long time ago, but last winter we bought a Nintendo Wii, and the PlayStation hasn't been touched since! We have spent nearly $900 on games, accessories, and the console itself. The best games are on Wii Sports, I think, which came with the purchase of the console.

I've got a Wii as well, we spent nearly £200 and we got the console and 2 games but we're getting games every week when my fiancee gets paid so our collection is starting to grow. I love the Wii, it's just so different to play compared to other consoles because you have to get up and actually do something instead of just sitting in front of a screen.

My husband has bought tons of games-TONS! He really enjoys the Tiger Woods Golf Game, which is his latest purchase sometime last month, and he plays all the time. I don't play too much, but I do bowl a lot with my kids or when my friends come over. We bought the Price Is Right too, which is kinda slow, but still fun on occasion (Not really worth the full amount at 40 bucks though!)

Okay were to start, personally i own an xbox360 probably my favourite console of all time, people say maybe its not as good as ps3 but online play on the xbox360 is far better than ps3. i also have a Wii, Ps3, Ps2, Ps1, Xbox original, Nitendo DS and a psp. The only games that i really play are probably Call Of Duty 4 and FiFa 09. the only accessories i have bought was a turtle beach x1 headset which was about £40.00 :)

Wow, you are quite the gamer, aren't you? Are all of those consoles hooked up to be played at any time or are some of them put away? My friend bout a 360 the same time I bought my Wii. I was sold on buying the Wii because I had played the bowling game on Wii Sports at a friend's house and that is what sold me. It is still my favorite game, although I rarely get into any other games on it anyway-LOL

Well, being the fact that the only newer system we have is the Wii, I must disagree with you that the Wii doesn't produce many good games, because my family is hooked on it!! (Even though I am not really-but I have never been much of an avid game player either.)

When I was a lot younger I used to own an old original Nintendo system, and a Gameboy, but right now I don't own any video game systems. Right now I play games on the computer, if I'm interested in playing some kind of video or computer game, but that doesn't happen very often.

I absolutely loved the original Nintendo's games Tetris and the original Mario Brothers. I remember thinking how cool it was back then. About 3 years ago, I saw a friend of mine had one, and I hadn't played in nearly 15 years! I laughed at how "old school" it looked-how basic the graphics were compared to what is now. Still I think for the most part some of the originals are still the best.
