All the websites mention that we should not share our passwords for security reasons. Most of the people believe passwords should be made so difficlt that nobody could predice it.
However, Inspite of this, many of us share our passwords either accidentally or Proposefully. I shared my password with my friend when we used to play online games. Also I shared passwords so that we could recieve files online.
Have you ever shared your password with others? Do you think that person is so trustworthy?

I hope you can trust that friend. If your sharing with him only you must really trust him. So I beat he is a really nice guy. Those are the type of people I usually give my password to. They are truth worthy individuals.

Keeping two passwords is a good idea.
Atleast you dont have to share your real password with others.
Its effective way to maintain your security.

I will as a rule, share my password wiht my husband--to sites like internet banking, online transactions etc;;, because we have separate accounts and I believe that he should know everything because if anything suddenly prevents me from working on the net , or under unforeseen circumstances, he should be able to operate the account. i would do the same with my son too but right now I have not told him all the details because he is far too busy with his work.

I do not share passwords. I always check the url of the web page so that I dont enter the password in the wrong places. I occasionally give passwords to my friends or family so that they view the content I want them to. If u dont want to share u can create an alternative password and give that to them. Revert to ur old password after they are finished.

I share my password only to the people that I know VERY close. I don't share it with anyone else, other then them. Mine password I very simple indeed but some everyone still has a hard time figuring it out. I laugh at those who keep guessing and getting it wrong because they come up with the weirdest passwords! haha, Happy myLotting friend!

That is actually true at times. When your password is just easy as 12345 or similar...people keep breaking their heads by guessing some wierdest passwords you could imagine. Its very difficuly to say what on earth will be somebodys password.

Hello murtuza, I never share my password. I've met a lot of people online and I got fulled by them a lot in the past. They would pretend to be my best friend for a few months and try to steal my account. The first time I got tricked. The second I didn't expect to be fulled twice. The third time I just decided to trust the guy and guess what... he stole my accoun again (not on this site that is). Ever since then I don't trust anyone with anything. Not even my relatives.

You shouldn't really trust people if you just met them online. People can be whatever you want them to be on the Internet. I mean, they could pretend to be someone that they're not. But I think it's pretty extreme not to trust anyone. You can trust people, but only after you get to know them really well. And you can only get to know people well if you've actually had a direct relationship with them and not just online.

I am not sharing my passwords with any one and if I happened to reveal it to some one due to some unavoidable situations, then I will change the current password as early as possible and also I will let them know about the password change(Not the passwords to avoid account blocking in some sites in case of multiple wrong entries). But now I feel our passwords should be revealed at least to one of our trusted person.

It is better to be safe by not sharing your password. Still If you want to share it to one person, better be that person the most trusted one.
Else you can keep your password written at a place which is just available to you.

I would never share my password to just anyone. I would share it to people I can trust and have no benefit from having it. I would give it to someone can assist me to completing the task I need from using my person password.
Sometimes people password contain explicit words that aren't suppose to be for everyones ears. So I don't recommend just telling your password that you may use for nearly everything you have that requires a password.
God bless

I never used to share my password as i have expereinced one bitter incident out of sharing password with my friend and hence i never like to repeat the mistake i commited. Password is actually meant not to let know others regarding our personal data and information. Hence i never encourage the concept of password sharing and i advise others not to share your password even though your friend is that trustworthy and reliable.

I don't simply share passwords. I only share a few of them with my hubby. If I cannot trust my hubby, who else... So, yes, I trust him...

Hello, I share my passwords to people that who are really close to me and special. Like my girlfriend, we share password to each other because sometime we need to access each others mail or facebook accounts in time of emergency. If I gave my password to someone during an emergency situation (I experienced a lot of these situations during my college), I'll just change my password afterwards.
