Would you join the rat race even if it meant at the expense of your best friend?

Friends are the most trusted people on earth (or that's what we're thought to believe). If you found that your friend was in need of something and that there was just one left and that was something your friend needed most, would you grab it or let it pass on to him/her?

Friends are my life's most precious gift for me . if such a situation ever comes infront of me then i will see how necessary it is for my friend and if it will make him happy then definately i will give it to him .. most of the time i do it so it wont be a new thing for me..
