What songs do you like to listen to, local artists' song or foreign songs? why

Most of us listen to music.
And each one of us have our own preference when listening to music. It can be love songs, alternative, rock, pop, or classical.
However these genre of songs are available through our own local or foreign artists, bands and composers.
Given this, which do you prefer listening to, foreign or local?

yeah same here its hard to choose coz im a music lover and doesnt care if its a local or foreign artist song they are equal to me. as long as i like the melody. music has the language of its own. and it doesnt matter for me if its been written or sung in different language.

I have a preference of old school music to me it has meaning and understanding then the music out now exspecially with rap music and rb

I typically listen to folk punk. There are a few big names that describe themselves as folk punk, such as Elliott Smith, but typically these bands are indie label or complete self promotes.. so I'd have to say local

See this is a hard question for me. When it comes to music I don't have a preference I really don't. I listen to anything and everything. I can go from oldies, to rock, to rap, to jazz. It's never the same old thing. If it sounds nice I'll listen to it. Give me Miles Davis or Tupac I'll be happy. Daughtery or the Dixie Chicks it's all the same to me. It depends on my mood I guess. And some local stuff is good as well I don't have a local band here where I live now that I'm head over heels with mostly because I haven't lived here very long but back home there are a few like Catch 22 and my friends in the comic band Seth and Willie Fred (now those guys are funny). But in the end I have no restrictions on favorites or nonfavorite. Right now it's just who's ever on the mix.

I love to listen to & support local bands. I have one that I really like & haven't seen them in over a year now. I bought their CD, but I don't have the current one. They sing popular music, but they also have their own songs that I really like. There is a festival here that they always play at every year, but they are not listed for this year. I should contact them through myspace & see why they are not doing any shows.
