When to shop for baby girl. Due Nov. 27th.

Hey all, im overly excited to be having my first child. A girl of course. My moms tells me she's throwing a baby shower Oct. 3rd. I asked my husband to move all of his office out of the room so we can start on my childs room but i need to know when is a good time to start shopping for furniture. Also I have a two bedroom apartment with limited space to put my husbands office together. Should i shift it in the living room and the kitchen? Should i move the kitchen table out to make room for the computer desk and bring the book shelf in the living room. I wish i had a picture of my apt so you could tell. Anywho, any suggestions?
