I was just wondering how many people will still watch American Idol now that Paula will not be judging the contestants? I am a long time fan of Paula and to me she brought a sense of compassion to every performance that was brought in front of her and even the worse ones she found a way to be nice about it. I have't really gotten much into it this year only seeing around 4 of the episodes..but I do have to say that now that Paula isn't there anymore...I really won't be watching:(
Did you like Paula as a judge on American Idol? Do you like her? Will you still watch A.I. without her?

I totally agree with you and Yes I like her as a judge on the show, Yes I like her and liked her before this show and NO I WON'T BE WATCHING WITHOUT PAULA THERE. It won't be the same show. Plus I feel sorry for the contestants they won't have anyone on their side showing heartfelt compassion for them.

I'm with you lelin- they have lost me forever. I do believe that Paula will move on to bigger and better things I mean really look at her career - she has been in and out of the industry for a long time now- and I don't see any immediate end to that in the near future.

I am honestly not a real big fan of American Idol. I watched the first season all the way through, as it was a brand new type of show that was really good, and to see Keely Clarkson win was just a phenomenol experience. I wasn't as into the other seasons, although I always enjoyed the try-outs, as I am sure many people did, seeing the goofy people and their so called talents. I didn't know Paula was leaving the show until I saw the post here on Mylot. I think she did offer great compassion, and counteracted Simon's rudeness often, to keep many contestents from feeling like total failures. I am sure many people will miss her, and the ratings may very well go down with her absence.
