It should be right above the insert key right after the last of the F# buttons

On my computer it's the same key as insert. How do I command it to print screen as opposed to inserting?

Thank you for posting this discussion as I also needed to learn how to do this . I was so glad to find which key to use so now I have a screen shot of this discussion pasted onto my Microsoft Word. Thanks again!

I haven't tried it but I think it's the same as a pc - I have a laptop too...whenever I've needed to take a screen shot in the past, I always used the control & print screen keys pressed at the same time.

I don't know exactly what your laptop's brand is. I guess that every laptop has a "Prtscr" button. press that one and paste in your Microsoft Word document, then you will get.

go over to tucows.com and look for "screen capture" software.
most of them have helper tips on them so it's easy.
some of them all you have to do is open the screen page you want to copy with the program open and hit enter or a similar key.

Thank You so Much for this discussion! Not just for laptops, but I didn't even know how to do one in general. Now, thanks to this helpful information; I have NO questions regarding this. Thanks again!

Hi,
There are several ways to take screenshot of anything in laptop. You could use the default button on your keyboard or you can use any software programs which will help you in doing it. Also in Windows 7 operating system, there is an integrated tool for this purpose. For more queries login to my discussion, and do post. You will be getting reply as soon as possible.
Regards,
Reyas
