If I look at another woman, does that make me a lesbian?

I was having lunch earlier today at Starbucks and I happened to notice a very beautiful girl standing just a couple of chairs away from me. I thought wow she is so beautiful. She looked like the lead singer of the pussycat dolls (I don't know her name) but she was so beautiful that I couldn't stop starring at her. She had perfect long legs, perfect size chest, wonderful behind and she just had this X factor.
And at that time I was thinking that if I had a boyfriend and he cheated on me with her I wouldn't blame him. For the first time I kind of understood why men just look at us lustfully as this girl really was pretty and I was admiring her.
She came up to me and asked why I kept looking at her like that and I said because I thought she was pretty. She was flattered but then said "sorry I'm not a lesbian"
I was a bit furious when she said that and I said no am not a lesbian but I am allowed to look and admire. Maybe I shouldn't have starred at her for so long.
So if I look at another woman does that make me a lesbian? Do you look and admire other women?

Hello Jelly. I think the problem was that you're not a man! Unfortunately, too many people who are beautiful on the outside know it only too well, and expect their share of adoration. As you found out, beauty on the outside doesn't make for a nice person. That was a really nasty thing to do - making an assumption about a total stranger like that. You're lovely inside and out - you don't need to worry about what shallow people think of you.
BTW, just to cheer you up. We were at a market today, and on one of those stalls that sell t shirts with slogans, I was creased up by this one: 'Please dip me in chocolate, and then feed me to the lesbians.'

I guess everyone thinks differently, but in my opinion I do not think there was anything abnormal about your behaviour. I think it is human nature for us to admire good looking human beings and it just so happens that good looking females are just so 'pretty' and therefore they will get looks of admiration from anyone, regardless of whether they are male or female.

That does not make you a lesbian. In fact, since you say she looked like the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, just stammer and say "You can't be --- I saw your concert ----- and it was so good," and before she has a chance, say that you were just getting up the nerve to talk to a famous person and then mention your favorite song and then she will interrupt you and say something like she gets mistaken for ''' all the time. In other words, wing it.

I do loved to look at pretty woman and appreciate their beauty..none the less..they look like a nice piece of art..looking is simply appreciating not to be mislead as you becoming a lesbian..some says if you get closer to a woman and live for a long time lesbianism my develop, especially if both you have hatred with some men...but it also depend if you are use to get carried away and teasing is no longer ordinary for me..some people get a misinterpretation..looking is simply appreciation...

I sometimes too, look at and even admire other women. I admire them for their looks, the way they dress, or any other things that make me somewhat envious of them. I even tease my boyfriend whenever I see a mouth dropping girl walk by, and ask him to look at her. But at the end of the day, my preference is still the same. So I think it's just natural to admire other women. It just only shows how appreciative you are for other people's beauty and well-being.

I don't think that makes you a lesbian at all. I am completely straight - without a doubt straight - and I still look at other women and judge their attractiveness. It doesn't mean you're thinking about them sexually in anyway or prefer females to males. It's just something that naturally occurs, I believe. You can't be around other people without noticing them.

No it does not make you a Lesbian. Admiring anything beautiful is human and there is nothing wrong with appriciting someone who is beautiful be it male or female. Anymore than it is wrong to admire and stare at a glorious sunset or radient rainbow or a perfect rose. Beauty is meant to be admired. I am a woman, I will be 60 in about 3 days and I have enjoyed admiring pretty women but I am not a lesbian and have never had any inclination to be one. I am married to my one and only love of my life and husband of 39 and half years. I would if you ever find yourself in this situation and they wonder. Say no I just admire beauty when I see it be it a rose, a sunset or a person.

No, it does not make you a lesbian. It does however show that you can recognize a very pretty girl. If you had not stared at her for so long she might not have thought about you being a lesbian though.
If this ever happens again and the girl asks why you were looking at her so long, lie and say she looks like the daughter of someone you know :)
