Does anybody know of people who married their net pals and have a good married life?I personally think it depends on how you handle your relationship and it doesn't at all matter where you met her/him.But unfornunately i don't know anyone who has done this.So guys feel free to share your experience and let me know...

well i think its alittle unrealistic..i wouldnt marry my chat friend..but yess if my chat friend turns out to be a common friend or like a long lost buddy yess i would definitely talk to him or meet him..but i dont think i will mary someone from the internet..because i wont be able too trust him that much..i personally know people who have met over the internet and have married..thers a girl in my class only who got married in the 1st year..she had met her would be on some yahoo chatroom and they are now happily married..so there are instances..maybe a time will come when people will communicte only through this medium and marriages like this will also become popular..but i personally wont do it..

My wife and I met online on a site called LiveJournal. We were online friends for a couple of years before we actually met in person. But we had talked a lot on the phone and on Instant Messenger so we already knew a lot about each other. We've been together for a little over seven years now with no sign of anything wrong :)

Great to hear that.Its nice to know that you actually can fall in love with someone whom you haven't seen in person..thats the whole idea about love...you can love someone just by knowing her/him.Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience with us...

I have heard of this and think that it is extremely risky. Who knows what sort of a nut the other person is? But then there are some success stories which is heartening! Ultimately it is all a matter of judgment I suppose!

I've seen this. I forgot the site but its a site with interactive characters. marrying was not forbidden but it was not something other players did. It was really fun though. I attended their wedding at the church and another friend of them married them. They used emotional icons and traded web items as a symbol of their marriage. I haven't run into them after that but it was definitely quiet a sight.
