I am so proud of traditional Chinese culture, so I have a dream of teaching English speaking people Chinese. Do you want to learn Chinese? Why? And where do you want to learn?

I did learn Mandarin Chinese in college. I had to fulfill a foreign language credit, so that was my choice because I had so many Chinese friends at the time. Japanese is my second language, so the reading and writing of Chinese was not too difficult, although the grammar was very different. My problem was intonation . . . I could speak it but could not understand by ear too quickly. I think I and a handful of others were truly English speakers and we are the ones that really learned the language in class. The other 95% of the class were already Mandarin Chinese speakers - that was not fair - and obviously receieved an easy "A".
