New Spyware/Malware Doing the Rounds.

I have just learned from a computer advisory newletter I take that there is a new scareware doing the rounds. Scareware is a type of message that you download that tells you that your computer is infected and you need to download their software to get rid of it. This scareware imitates the "blue screen" that tells you that your computer is infected and you need to buy their SystemSecurity software to put it right. When you download it, it won't work and the best advice is do a full scan with a virus checker or anti-spyware software like Spybot, which is free to download - just enter "free spybot" in Google or your favorite search engine.
