Good day my fellow MyLotters. We all know that all of us, as an alive human being we become thirsty and we drink a lot of water specially during summer when the weather is hot . And I think it is advisable for us to drink at least eight glasses of water, so that we become more healthy . Now a days there's a lot of water refilling station that are coming out, and we are one of their customers, we used to buy eight gallons a week . The water we buy in water refilling stations are usually purified water and that is what my family usually drink everyday, but for my baby her pediatrician advice us to give her a distilled water for her formula milk. Do you know what's the difference between purified and distilled water? And just want know my fellow MyLotters, what kind of water do you drink? God bless Happy MyLotting .

Hi brienn, Good day. This saying "Good day" seems to be very nice to greet people which I picked it from you and of coarse I am using it elsewhere.. I was using the distilled can water before and now having a purifier at home to purify the ground water. What I know from distilled water is, it is really done with some distillation process (condensation from a vapour during distilling). Purified water is removing impurities with some source (purifier). This what I know. Do share if you have any thoughts more in this.... Cheers... God bless you..

Good day phillip_shiny, Nice to hear that from you my friend . Well for me, we just used purified water lately, because there are some issue or humors around here in our place that it is not safe to drink the water that been provided by the public water company. So we choose not drink the water coming from them, and we switch to buying the water that we will use for drinking and for cooking . God bless. Happy MyLotting.

I do agree with Andalond. 110% (10% bonus). not kidding.. seriously. Distilled water means pure H2O (water without minerals); mainly used in industry. U may have noticed that we use de-mineralized water for acid-batteries of IPSs or Cars. Why should we drink that?!@#$%#!? Well, we can drink distilled water from rain, if other sources are unavailable. Thats all.. but not daily. Some people use the word "distilled" to actually mean "purified". I think that's the confusion. More over, U can buy 1Ltr purified water with the money of 400/500ml distilled water, because distilled water needs highly controlled de-mineralization process (which is costly). However, I'll say the same thing one more time, distilled water is drinkable for ur IPS, not for U/ur family. Take Care... :)

Honestly with all 4 of my children I used Similac formula and I always used bottled drinking water. It is not the distilled water but the "drinking water". I always bought them in the plastic 1 gallon bottles. And I always got the store brand of the water. I kept it out on the counter so it was room temperature and I always kept powdered formula. That way it was easy to mix and never needed to be warmed up. Well, I would heat up a cup of hot water and then just put the bottle inside the cup of water to warm it up a little bit. Hope that helps. By the way, my children are from 18 years old down to 4 years old and they were always very healthy with no problems. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

But before we used to give her PreNan as suggested by her pediatrician. And the water we use for this formula milk is distilled drinking water too, and the brand of it is Wilkins . I drink both distilled and purified water. i drink chlorinated water and from water which undergo in a purified process. In my homes the water supply comes from a faucet from the water company. We drink water from it, as it already undergo chlorinated process. It is clean and we also use it to make hot water. When, I go to other places and I am not sure of the water sources where it comes from. I buy bottled purified water or minerals water i used for travels. This is a great to reliever to quinch thirst and also use water to wash, clean my house and the laundry.

Distilled water is formed through distillation process. It is not good for health as it is pure H2O and it has no minerals in it. I usually have purified water. Here in my town we are getting stream water and we purify it using purifier machines and drink. Happy Mylotting.
