around here in our city, ou regulary see people begging. some of them are children, some come in groups and give letters to ask for solicitations. some are adults
anyway, when they beg from me (im not proud of it) but i rarely give anything, maybe because i was brought up to believe that you should give them food an not just money or coins. My mom is better, bec she readily gives some coins not to appease herself but you can really see that she feels for those less fortunate people. so im not a good follower of her noble example. i have to improve on my generosity.
how about you guys?, i'd like to learn about what's your attitude to those who beg from you?

I often see many beggars in my city and I will give money to them especially following two kinds of people. One kind is who looks like really need help. Some of them are too old to earn some money by working and other are disabled and they dont have enough money to see a doctor. The other kind is someone who play guitar or other instruments or sing songs. I think there is no stage for them to show their abilities so they only can make money by this way. But some beggars are cheaters, they just treat begging as a occupation. Making money by such way is unfair to others. In a word, giving the baggars some money cant solve their problems totally. The gorverment really need take some measures.

I have a rule. I dont give to white but of course there is exception to the ru;e. Whites have systematical advantage in this system.

how do you deal with homeless people who beg from you?
Hi there kukaisiton. Most of the time whenever I see some homeless person out begging I will just keep on going. But if they happen to come right up to me. Then I will usually dig down and see if I can give them a few dollars. Since we never know what their situation is and what got them into that predicament in the first place I figure that my little bit might just help to get them out of it. Besides that I try not to judge them. As we never know when the tables might turn in life and then we'd be the ones to wind up out there on the streets without a home. So usualy if I have it to give then I will give, even if I just happen to walk into a store and they have some kind of money pot on the counter collecting donations. Well a little spare change ain't going to do me a bit of good but it can help to buy some poor hungry kid a hot meal to eat. So why not give? That is just my way of looking at it. You will sleep much better at night whenever you do. Happy mylot.

No one wants to be a beggar or homeless or unemployed. There are no poor people who want to. Give them, not make you poor.
My friends and I organize them. They give us lessons of art (poetry, drama, painting, dance, music, etc.). Now they sing of life in the stalls and restaurants, in bus, in the streets. We call this street performers. Now, the organization we have thousands of members. We can be happy to help other people. We want to live useful.

I encounter homeless people on the subway all the time. As far as how I deal with them; I almost always give them my spare change because I know that even if its a small amount, It is going to change their life far more than mine. The only time I hate giving homeless people money is when there is a crowd of people around; people tend to think you are showing off by giving them money.
