Woke up to rain today, and storms on the way...no end in sight for today

It's really hot today, but that doesn't bother me very much as I wasn't planning on doing anything special... Next week, however, I'll be needing good weather in the region I'm going on the field for palaeontological prospecting purposes. I don't know any prognosis for that area and time interval, but I hope it's going to be sunny.

Oh how I would love to experience some of that weather over here in London!! Well, it's just so warm and it's very difficult to get to sleep at night. The only advantage that this really warm weather has had is the fact that I have been getting out there on my bike everyday and cycling sixty miles! I would love to have a balance though and get drenched at least once whilst out on my bike in order to cool me down. Andrew

As usual those storms came from my area. Last night, (Friday) my wallas were shaking so badly from the storm. Lots of lightening and thunder with 60 MPH winds and the rain was nonstop for a few hours being a heavy downpour. No mpower outages near me thankfully and no injuries so far that I know of. Now today (Saturday) it is 90 and MUGGY as heck. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Hi bookreadermon, well yesterday started off pretty much as always, relentless heat over 100 degrees and sticky unmovable humidity. It looked as though it might rain though. I was just on my way out to drop my son with at his friends house a fifteen minute drive away when the friend called to say bring a brolly it's pouring down. As we set off there were a few drops of rain but not enough for the windscreen wipers, but as we arrived in the next village it was pouring down, rain such as we haven't seen here for months. But as I left the village to return home I drove right out of the rain and returned to just a few scattered drops. It was still pouring in the next village though. So I think that qualifies as pretty wierd weather. The hope was the rain would cool the air which it did for a bit but the heat is soaring up again once more today. Maybe months before we see the next drop.

We've had some clouds and scattered showers today. It has been so hot here lately and it's good to see the rain because it will cool things off a little bit. I like rain, myself. I get tired of so much of it, though. To me, rain is relaxing. I like to sleep when it's raining, myself. It is aggravating, though, when you have to cancel your plans due to the rain. I'm just glad that I could get done what I had planned to do today. There are always errands to run. Kathy.

Hello bookreadermom ! I am so happy waking up early this morning here in the Philippines. The weather is so fine and i am planning so many things to do. I am planning to hear mass this afternoon.

I always set a target each day for my online earning and because of that i go by schedule , since we have a bad weather here and it was to windy yesterday we dont have a net connection for hours , net connection in our place is always disrupted if there is bad weather , so it leave no choice but to wait till the line is ok and do some other stuff to keep me busy so I wont have to wait till the net is ok... have a nice weekend my friend.

it is so hot the last couple of days here and it is going to be today to heat index is to be around 100 and yes when it is that hot and humid i don't go out unless is very important and i can't get out of going.
