a friend and I will send you the link. Am I the only one who hates these types of posts? The idea people is to DISCUSS the "make extra money" program here on mylot where everyone can join. Not with each other thru private messages. What are you really discussing anyway? I stopped replying to these types of posts how about you?

People serious don't read. It's funny to see their responses. It kind of seems like people will only share information if you do X, Y, or Z. Who knows their information is any good? How about they share their experiences and how they make money with whatever program it is. If the information looks helpful, the person will get referrals!

Another good point!!! Credibility and not empty promises.

I dont know why people dont understand this simple concept. Thats why I only join under people who actually give me details about the site, not the standard "send me the link" comment. If I really like the site Im going to join anyway.

Exactly! I've had help for a site that I was already a member of from someone who wasn't my referrer. Without this person's help, I wouldn't have received money from this site last month. I think giving info also builds credibility with a person so when they find another good site or something, you know you can sign up under them.

The reason it is done that way is so others can earn a referral. By doing this it helps others to earn a bit more with the programs they are in. PLUS no links are allowed that include your referral in a discussion or response or comments. It is against mylot policy. So in order to gain from any of this is to ask people to add you as a friend so that they can give you their link.
Those that I have contacted are actually willing to trade referrals.
Plus there are discussions about different programs in mylot, many of which I have found good because it gives me the information on those that are scams.
If I see a discussion on a program and I am interested I actually just add them as a friend and then ask through private message what the program is and what it is about. This way I get more details and I can check it out to see if I want to join or not. I don't always join those links that I get, I do my research first, then decide. Can't do that without the name of what program it is.

Your comment has proved my point. You PM them for the info and so does everyone else. Why not DISCUSS the program and then if you want to join, send the link? Why reply to 10 different people with the same info when you can do just one post and answer everyones questions for everyone to see? The person is trying to get the referral exactly what you said in your first sentence. If they are afraid of losing the referral, they dont have to give the name of the site, just the details.

I totally agree with you too and excellent point you made. I just get tired of asking for info only to get "add me as friend and PM". Give me some details first for god sakes. If all they are worried about is losing the ref, then maybe mylot is not the place for them.

The reason that doesn't work is Everyone wants the name of the program to know if it is legit or not, by doing the research. The person starting the discussion about a certain program could very easily not get any referrals, just alot of discussion and that would only prove to be a waste of time to them if they were looking to get referrals.
It would be nice to be able to trust that you would get at least a few from posting like that, still it is hard to trust that others will go to you for the referral. Many in the same program could say and I have seen this, "come to my profile I have a link/banner, etc." Its hard to say how that would work. I do get what your sayiing don't get me wrong. Just looking at it in a different way...
For now most have chosen to do as you posted, "add me and I will send the info" kind of attitude, trying to secure at least a few referrals for the time spent.

In a way, it proves my point. People want to earn so bad they see what they want to see. You are right, its funny and also sad. The MEM forum is just becoming a link farm. Glad you got it!

Only shows you that some don't read the quality of what is being written.. You need to read the WHOLE discussion to realize how to answer..

catchy title. A real attention getter, which is why you've gotten so many responses thus far. Mostly everyone is only reading the title only and not the real discussion part of the post. I use the same tactics and then end up explaining to most responders what I really meant based on what I wrote and the actual title.

Thought I would grab everyones attention the same way the other posters did. Big money seems to be the only thing that grabs attention around here these days. No one wants to "discuss" the site at all. Its ok though, I dont mind explaining. I take full responsibility for my post.

Earning such amount in a week is possible but we don't blame those people saying that. They want only to share their opinions they believe is true...but the real things is that no truth about making money online and earnings about $50 a week.
Don't be annoyed about those message here, my friend. Let's take a part of discussions not get it seriously...
have a great day!

Well you are right. I totally agree with you. These guys just use mylot service to gain more referrals. Their discussions are silly and pointless and 100% scam. There are many mylotters who post really good discussions and I post only to those. One example is yours.
Happy myloting.

How can people still post wrong response in this discussion??? It's silly and funny, I think! I understand the first and the second, but how can they still think it's about promoting site again after you get other responses? I check until the last page and I laughing out loud while reading "please send me the link" response on the last page..
I have one mylot friend who always post that kind of "I've found a great site... pm me... I did it" and whatsover. I think they wanna get referral by posting this type of posts. Actually I don't mind with it, there are some peoples here who really wanna make $$$ and one of the way is by tell other people. I've read in one blog that mylot can used for free site promotion.. Honestly, I feel angry but then I think it's okay, everybody have freedom to think anything. I disagree with it and think that they have misused or have the wrong idea about mylot.
You're right, they haven't got good income or making good money as their statement says, but they are on the way to make it by ask us to join as their referrals.
At first, I really interested about it, but after that , I found that they pm me the site I already now or I've quit because I get nothing from the site. The site they offered not work for me and I have tried it before or it's not as good as they mentioned in the discussion. It's good if you have many referrals and this is what he/she try to do.
I always read FAQ page and search other people opinion about it before join in a site and thanks God, because of that I don't have to experience many trial and error. Even if someone pm me the link, I will check it first by googling.

Oh but we are all so eager to earn in the beginning. I did all those things people are still doing long ago. Now its about saving time and legit sites. I am not really mad at these posts but it does waste everyones time since we have no info about the site. It also takes time to find a good mem post with all the spam. Thanks for comment!

That's right, now I'm focusing myself in a few of legit site than join many sites but most of them are scam.. I think it must be tiring if we join many sites and it's a waste of time. I personally only search for extra income here,,not full income. How about you?

well it's true that their are some real legit sites like for example freebie site that can pay you more than 50$ but you have to refer people which takes alot of time and trust heheh...

That is so true. Cant wait to see what the year 2011 brings, even more funnier posts. I think its me though. For some reason people always respond this way to my posts. It makes for very good discussions though just to see how people interpret posts in so many different ways.

Well I find it actually quite funny the number of people who who aparently didnt even read your post, I have to say I agree whole heartedly its so annoying the number of spam posts that are on here. I personally wish there was more discussion with in this section of the site, in all honesty this could be one of the best tools available to anyone who is looking to make a few extra bucks online. If we all just took the time to talk about the programs that work for us and also those that dont, it could really open doors up for a lot of people, which i feel is what my lot intended this section to be, a tool something to make life a little easier for us all.
If we all warned each other about scams and sites with other problems we could all be saved alot of wasted time and heart ache but instead, we get spam posts with titles like you just illustrated and no real value. I for one dont waste my time on posts with titles like those above.

Very well said and I totally agree with you! Thats exactly what mylot intended for this site, discussions to help each other out. Its supposed to be a community of information and learning tools. What on earth can you learn from "send me the link"???? Its nothing but a gigantic spam board. Some people even get annoyed when you start asking questions. All they want to do is get you as a referral, period. They dont even take the time to explain the site well. I dont sign up under people like this.
