Hello friends. I would like to tell you about one of the major problem that the world is facing and if we dont pay attention to it all will end in very near future and that problem is WATER CRISIS. Without going into much of a lecture I want to show you some of the facts: 1) More than 2 billion people worldwide are facing water scarcity. 2) Every 15 seconds, a child dies from water related disease. 3) At any time 65% of the world's hospital beds are occupied by patients suffering from water-related disease. These facts are true eye-opener for all those who are not doing any thing in this regard. So, what are you doing in this regard?? Any plans of how to prevent water in simple ways and how many of them do you really follow??

Yeah, friend, these are some dreadful facts that i was also pondering upon in the recent past. I admit that i am not doing anything worthy of much praise in this regard. But, at my home, i try my best to save water. Well, there are so many different ways already suggested in large amounts. That is unnecessary to mention it again here. But, i would like to emphasize another thought. Many people are starting awareness campaigns and rallies in this regard, but, still a large part of the society is not sincere about water conservation, and it is tragic that they include huge amounts of literate people. So, if education sector has included subjects on many disciplines, why not include a Natural Resource Management subject? Keep up your campaign. Happy Mylotting!!

Yes, that a good thought. Also, I would like to add that the campaigns that are going on are actually focusing themselves mainly to the poor people and asking them not to waste water. But, I think the campaigns should focus on the rich people because I could see a lot of wastage in their houses. It is well known that those who have something can waste it (rich people have ample supply of water and are wasting too much of it, on the other hand poor people have only handful of water and are not going to waste it). Happy MyLotting.

Yeah, you are right. But, i don`t think any campaigns are focusing themselves on a particular class of people. Also, i don`t find any difference in the water supply of the poor or rich people. You can see there are so many public hand-pumps etc that the poor can easily use. Also, in places of water scarcity, the poor and rich or more or less equal, the difference being that the rich can purchase the so-called Mineral Water. Also, the campaigns currently on TV are mainly in the reaches of the rich (they have TVs) not in reaches of poor. As i believe, water is something that is equally distributed among all of us and there should be no targeting of any campaign. But, one thing is for sure, if the current trend continues, what you say may become common that water will be in hands of some handful of people. Happy Mylotting!!
