Yesterday all of my fishes Died. they got sick and I got them this medicine and I think I over dose them. I didn't mean it. It's expose to take off the dots and stuff and stop there scratching and stuff. Well I think I killed them I didn't mean it..
I read the bottle and it said the tank will be blue for a couple of days and like 10, 20 minutes later the tank is clear again. Then me and boyfriend thought maybe we have to turn off the filter. Then Maybe the tank stay blue long.. well it did and eventually went away.
The bottle said 1 drop for every 2 gallons and our tank is 20 gallon so yeah 10 drops. well my boyfriend read the type of fish and did 1 drop for every gallon. So the first time I gave them 20 drops. Later on I gave them 10. In then morning I gave them 10 more. well 50% of the drops were put in when the filter was off.
Some to find out they are dead...... I think I killed Them..?

Well that is so sad to hear. We have fishes too and we did research for things about treatment because they do have itch and they were scratching. You should have placed them on a separate tank. Fishes needs a hospital tank and if you have seen a fish infected with such a disease, you should isolate it and not to be mixed with other fishes.
The best itch solution for our fishes is the potassium permanganate. You need to put a very small amount of this one, once you see the color, very light only, that will be enough. Place the medicine on a separate tank, or a container where you can place the fishes that are infected. Place the infected fishes for 10 to 20 minutes only.
After that, you can place them back to their original tank. We do this once a week, depends if you still find them scratching. But if not, then don't treat them. Just be sure to replace water daily or once a week. A clean tank is always good for your fishes not to get sick and such disease. You can put a water treatment first, before you place your fishes in the tank. Research more so that next time, you won't be killing your fishes un-intentionally, that is.

Thanks for the great advice I was going to take out the fish that was infected but I thought maybe the ICH is all over and there is no point into taking that one fish out..
Also I think I would do that next time.. But yeah when I found well notice they had white salt size dots on there fins and body .. I notice some on others and some had more then others some only Had one.. But yeah... It was a sad site.. after having them for about.. 2 weeks or more..
well yeah again thanks for the advice and take .. care.. =] I will be sure to go do more research before anything.. =]

OMG LOL! I don't know why, maybe the way you wrote it with those smilies, but your post made me laugh so loud! I actually used to have fish few years ago... I recently found out that I was supposed to feed them only once a week, so maybe I killed them by giving them too much food- once a day.
lol.
