Do you realise the importance of having good neighbours?

We have always mad a point to be friends with our neighbors. 2 of our neighbors have a house key and our phone numbers. We let them know whenever we are going to be away for a long time, and they do the same with us. We take out their garbage and bring in their mail when they are gone. One time, we were working on a rental house of ours and ended up staying overnight to work late. We were so thankful that we could call our neighbor and ask her to let our dog out to go potty. One Christmas, we were kind of fostering a granddaughter of a friend of the family. She didn't believe in Santa because of the hard life she had while growing up. (She was 10.) We decided to prove her wrong. We had all sorts of gifts for her hidden in our closet. Christmas eve morning, we left to visit family 4 hours away. We were staying the night. We told her that she could be the last out of the house, and she could lock up, just to ensure that we didn't do anything before leaving. So she locked the house, and we left. We called our neighbor and told her where the toys were, and asked her to be our Santa. When we came back the next morning, there were all these toys under the tree. Her jaw DROPPED! We even caught her looking up the chimney. It was a total success. You never know just how nice it is to have good close neighbors until you need them for something this special.

i do agree with you that a good neighbours is very important.especially there are some elder in the house,if some emergency was happened,neighbours will be discover firstly and do the help at the first time.my neighbour has our house for many times.good luck and have a nice day.
