Hi all! I've always enjoyed writing and I've finally found a couple of writing compensation programs online. The are really neat; i especially enjoy writing for www.ehow.com. I was wondering if anyone out there knew of any other programs. I've tried a couple I disliked like associated content, but there must be others I can really enjoy.

If you want fairly decent pay for your work, it's probably best to avoid Triond and Bukisa. Both require a lot of writing, and a fair amount of promotion to pay off. Triond is developing a reputation for being the poorest paying site, and from my experience, I would agree. A lot of people like Helium because you can make a reasonable amount of money there, but unless you can stick to the Marketplace, the system is very complicated, involving a couple of different kinds of stars, rating other people, etc. If eHow and Associated Content are working well for you, the only site that I would really recommend is Constant Content. The drawback there is that you have to be an excellent writer, and you also have to be patient, since the site is based on buyers finding your material and then decided to pay for it. But you can earn more there, per piece, than on most sites. If you don't mind writing to other people's specifications, there's Textbroker and eCopywriters. Those two and many others are discussed regularly on AC's "Other Writing Gigs" forum.

It is pretty nice to know that there are certain branded companies that pays writers. I heard about www.ehow.com but making money there is not easy task. I mean you need to write consistent article every now and then

I'm signed up to Triond. It seems to be a good writing site. I say seems because I haven't actually put anything on there yet. But they e-mail me a statement of my current earnings every month, which is of course 0. Try it out. I've got to think of something to write to put on there.

I do have a list of such sites that I complied at www.squidoo.com/writingfulltime I do update it every now and then, so most of the descriptions should still be relevant.

Hey There, I also write for ehow. I recently joined them a few months ago. How long have you been with them? Are you seeing any monetary rewards yet? I have written 18 articles, considered now an authority, earning small change each day from my articles. I add articles daily to it. I also write for helium. I am pleased with this site, and I just published articles with Associated Content tonight. I have to wait a week for their review on them and see them published. Will keep ya posted with them. I am new to this - only been doing this since mid July. What are the writing compensation programs do you have?

Normally I don't like to promote one unless I've actually recieved money from them. I'd hate to promote a scam site. There is one that I joined recently - reviewstream.com. They haven't paid me yet so I can't guarantee anything but I've chatted with a few people who assured me that they do pay. I like to verify stuff before I commit myself. Especially there, minimum payout is $50! They have a 2 tier paying system. You can submit your article for the $2.00 payment and if they reject it just resubmit it and check the "willing to accept bulk rate" box and that's usually about $0.40. Pickjack.com is another recent one that I joined. I'll find out for myself next weekend if they actually pay or not. (If they do I'll promote it if not I'll quit.) Their payout is only $0.05. It's more of a trivia thing than a writing thing though. Other than that, the only one that I've found that actually pays what your promised is here :)
