Thinking about leaving myLot

I'm sick of people rating me negatively and I'm sick of the slowness when I submit messages. Yesterday I had a yellow star but today it turned into a ghost white star. I just can't stand looking at my star, it keeps fading away in color, it turned from red to yellow to white. I hope it fades away so I don't have to look at it. It reminds me of hope fading away. I wish they will let me use the smileys already, sigh.

no dont leave we will miss you , don't worry about what other people think don't even look at your star if it bothers you that much but please don't leave us we will miss you.

I will miss you guys too if I leave. I want this to work out so I will stick around and give this another try.

You can't let peopole chase you out just because they rate you negatively. It is going to happen in here, and all you can do is your best, and stay away from the controtversial topics, as the are the ones that definitely give you a poor rating there. I wouldn't worry about it to much though as there are more people that will rate you positive than ones who rate you negaive. I had problmes at first too, s I just couldn't get it go up, but then then I just decided to hang in there and see what would happen, and it all paid off. I eventually started getting good ratings. I really never worried about them at first as I knew I was just a newcomer in here and people didn't know me so they would rate me negative. Now, that I have been here for awhile, I have gained popularity and it now a high rating. I wwish I could get a 10, but I am happy with my 9. Just keep posting quality and you will se your ratings going up. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Don't go, not now. Mylot has very few active posters and we do not want another one to go. Post quality posts and maybe they won't rate you so negatively. Like the guy said, you're close to smileys. I just wonder, are you here for fun or for money?

Well unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it. All I can say is forget about the star and just have fun. Another thing is I quit myLot too, but yesterday I came back. What does the star do anyway? I've seen countless people with red stars and if they can do it so can you. Good luck.

I do post good quality posts, but some people here are party poopers who try to ruin the fun. I'm here for both, a little incentive goes great along with participation in interesting discussions, who doesn't think so?

Hi,
Just like you, i am also boring of the slowness of mylotting. Sometimes, it maybe took me one minitue to raise a discussion. As to the red/yellow/white star, i do not know what is it. Could you tell me? Besides, how many posts we should have before we can use smileys?

The color of the star along with the number on it represents your overall reputation here which depends on how the users rate your posts here. A 10 blue star is the best, the next best star is the red one, and so on. They have different colors of stars for different star ratings.
When I submit a post with a smiley on it, it tells me that I need to reach 200 posts in order to use smileys.
