Vista vs Windows XP?

Hi,
I used to use XP OS on desktop computer. Now i have to use Vista OS, as my laptop computer was configured a Vista OS. But during my daily work, i have to use XP, as my company computer all installed with XP. My first impression on Vista is its soft color, which make feel very good on it. As to other advantage, i do not find. But at least i found its disadvantage of using up a lot of memory. So what's your opinion on it? Which you prefer, vista or XP?

I too have Vista Os on my laptop. But i love windows Xp more than any other Os since Xp is lot more stable and good in performance. Vista i need to evaluate how it will work in longer term. Happy mylotting.

Hi,
It seems that the majority people love XP OS more than Vista. Of course, i am the one of them. Just like you said, XP is more stable and better in performance, which was the reason that our company computer all are configured with XP OS. But i still use vista. Try more, then evealuate more.

As for me ,I think XP is a very good one systerm .Vista gives us a good vision ,but it doesn't opearate very well . Do you know that windows 7 is released?
I installed windows 7 operating systerm before ,but many software don't support windows 7 well . Windows 7 is better than vista and xp .You should have a try of windows 7.

Hi,
Just like you, i consider that XP is better than Vista on operation. As to windows 7, i heard a lot, but never try it, as it is still not available in our country. I am very envious of you had try windows 7. I will try windows 7, when it is available. Thanks for your suggestion.

well personally i hate vista. its not a very good os to have on your computer. i have used it for quite some time and it use to freeze without any reason. and then you have to restart the system. this use to slow down the work and also created problems. so i think it is best ot have Windows XP on your computer.

I never tried Vista on my computer as it does not support vista. But I have used vista, its really cool if you have good configuration computer. Though not much improvement performance wise, just a visual improvement I see. i am still sticking to windows XP

Well Windows Vista is just too slow, I have it installed on my laptop, and to tell you the truth, it is quite slow. I think that Windows XP is actually quite good, and if I could, I would put Windows XP back on my laptop. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

My computer is old,so I'm using Xp now,but I don't plan to upgrade it to vista,for it has too many flaws.windows7 is my next goal~~
