Is GOD a MALE or a FEMALE?

Well when the bible was first written men controlled everything so of course they wrote it where the supreme being was a man. IT would upset the order of things if a woman had been at the top of it all.
Personally I don't think a god would have to be either.

Ya probably , GOD is just some power which can neither be a MALE or a FEMALE.

When you talk about the Bible the only god that we are reminded in this context is LORD JESUS. So, that is why it is said as HE & FATHER. The Hindus have both male and female gods so we can classify whether it is a HE or SHE. Each one believe their own gods and based on this MALE and FEMALE GODS are decided.

According to my knowledge JESUS is just a follower of the GOD rather than HE himself being GOD.

Indian Philosophy says there are two aspects to god,male and female. The male aspect is sometimes called Shiva and the female aspect is sometimes called Shakti. In simple terms,there is the operative principle which is the creative,female aspect of it and the consciousness part of it is called Shiva which is the controller part of god. Whatever that might mean.

When you say there is only one GOD why you differentiate as MALE(SHIVA) & FEMALE(SHAKTI).Why the gender for GOD?Who created them all?
