IDM is the best. There are is another way to increase your download speed. If you are using Firefox then there is an additional download manager which boosts your download speed it is named has 'downthemall' add this add-on to your firefox and you will good download speed. You can also download download accelerator[also known as DAP] This will give boost your download speed. There also an setting to be made in your windows registry when in you got to enter certain command in your run tab i will get the full information and let you know as your OS reserves 20% of your internet bandwidth for its updates download.

Ya I have been using IDM and it increases download speed very much.Without IDM my download speed is something around 30-40kbps while when I use IDM its around 150-200kbps
So its very cool
However with rapidshare its only around 50-60kbps...

well my friend as far as i know, the tool that you are using i.e IDM is the best one available for free and so there is no reason for you to look for anything else. but i am not very sure about rapidshare links. i mean it will be very nice if IDM can handle rapidshare links and that with que and auto download function. if they an do this then they will sure be a huge hit.

Ha It would have been better if it has queing option.I have something around 60-70 kbps download speed with rapidshare links but with hotfile links its damn fast I am getting nearly 200 kbps

Haven't tried it. It's probably another download manager like Download Accelerator. It does not improve your page loading speeds.

It depends on the download speed of your net.Through IDM by default it takes your speed 2-5kbps more...Well if you want try orbit downloader

IDM is not free first of all . u can use it for one month only .try FDM i have used both and FDM gives better results if you know how to us it properly

Hello friend.
I think you are using a good download accelerator tool IDM, but I mostly use Free download manager(FDM). The reason for that is during downloading a certain types of files like pdf, mht, FDM is a better choice.
Also try to keep your system optimized and resource free during downloading. It will help in increasing the downloading the speed.
