I don't know but I hate the thought of being unable to sleep and having to force yourself to go to sleep. Sleep you be something enjoyable. I guess the reason some people have insomnia because of the stress they have which is ironic because sleep lets your body rest to ultimately make you feel better.

I think so.
And the more you think about things that involved, the more time to get still awake and have a hard time to sleep.

Hi xhainmaoy, I have no idea where you read that piece of nonsense. I think people who think a lot are more likely to have insomnia when they can't shut their thoughts of at the end of the day. I am well educated and used to always have insomnia, what you read is just sexist rubbish. In my experience insomnia is caused by irregular sleep patterns and thinking about things, including will I be able to sleep.

That is a funny stat.My sister is so annoyed with you.
I sometimes go through a phase where I just cannot fall asleep.I do not feel sleepy at all.I have never tried sleeping pills as not sleeping a couple of days does not really make any difference to me.I can work pretty hard and do not get tired. Moreover usually I sleep very sound.I sleep about 6-7 hours at night and that is enough for me.Though these phases of insomnia are very rare and I do not have problems with it, I really wonder what causes this.
