I had a habit of cleaning and washing the utensils, plates after i finished cooking. But, recently my friend advised to do the cleaning as i cook the other dishes. So now it takes me lesser time to get out of the kitchen. But again people have many beliefs. My mother says we should clean only after we complete cooking. So what do you think should be the ideal way of cleaning and cooking????

Whenever I cook I always do bits of the cleaning at the same time. Such as if I am waiting for something to boil I will try and get a few bits washed up rather than standing around. Plus whenever I have finished cooking and dished up I tend to stick all the pans & trays either straight in the sink or fill them with boiling water from the kettle to help loosen any crispy bits.

I wash dishes while somethng s cooking quite often actually. Or I'm putting away dishes so I can put more n the strainer as well.

Yup, I would wash as I cook, so that at the end of the meal, I don't have so many plates, pots or pans to wash. Moreover, I don't have a dishwasher, so everything is washed by hand. Having to see so many dirty pots and pans waiting to be washed is really very depressing!
